LaGuardia Airport, Terminal C
Project Overview
Delivered through MIM Group leadership’s direct project experience, the LaGuardia Airport Terminal C redevelopment is a $4 billion transformation of one of New York’s busiest airports — and one of the largest airport infrastructure projects in U.S. history.
The 1.3 million square foot facility was designed and built to replace the aging central terminal with a world-class travel hub. MIM Group’s leadership served in direct construction management roles across landside civil, roadways, airside civil, and curbside and pedestrian bridge packages.
Key deliverables include a 457,000 SF headhouse, 37 flexibly sized aircraft gates, dual taxi lanes, a new state-of-the-art chiller and boiler plant with energy-efficient ice storage, a new 27kV electrical substation, a brand new Delta Sky Club lounge, and unique art installations created in partnership with the Queens Museum.
